How To Use
How To Use
Pump a generous amount of this lite gel unto a bath sponge and scrub from head-to-toe avoiding the eyes. This exfoliating & brightening gel may be used 1-3 times weekly…preferably in the evening/night for best results. Follow same directions when this gel is being used exclusively for the face (a sponge isn’t needed in this instance but leave on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing off).
* Patch test before use & wear sunscreen during the day while using this product or any other AHA containing products as the chances of you getting sunburns are higher when the uppermost layer of your skin is continually being exfoliated off.
*Caution: Do not use this product with other AHA containing products at the same time; you risk over-exfoliation which may bring about irritation or skin inflammation. You may follow up with Mariglw’s Even-Glow Toner & Moisturizer.

- 10% Lactic Acid (AHA): Lactic acid's larger molecular size reduces irritation risk, making it suitable for sensitive melanated skin. This alpha hydroxy acid which is often derived from animal by-products such as milk, also stimulates collagen production thereby improving the skin’s texture and reducing fine lines.
- Mulberry Extract: Mulberries contain anthocyanins and several potent antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals thereby slowing the aging process which is why it is widely used in anti-aging skin care. Mulberry extracts are natural skin brightening/lightening ingredients often used as an alternative to Hydroquinone.
- Alpha Olefin Sulfonate 40: Also known as Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, is a sulfate-free, biodegradable & anionic surfactant with a mild profile.
- Sodium Lactate: Sodium lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid. It occurs naturally in the skin as part of the skin's Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) required in the maintenance of natural hydration. It is a significantly stronger humectant than vegetable glycerin, with over twice the water holding capability. It is an extremely effective humectant, helping to strengthen the skin moisture barrier. It is a superior moisturizer, increasing the moisture content of skin by up to 84%. When compared to other commonly used moisturizers, it's water holding capacity is second only to Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid). It is also known to have skin brightening effects.
