How To Use

Active Ingredients

• Papain: Papain is an enzyme found in the white fluid (latex) that occurs in raw papaya fruit. It is a ‘protease’ meaning it breaks down proteins. It is this function that makes it beneficial for the skin as it breaks & loosens the protein bonds that hold dead skin cells to the surface of our epidermis thus sloughing them off i.e exfoliating the skin.
• Bromelain: Bromelain is also a natural plant protease. It contains a mix of antioxidants, vitamins A, C and E. It helps protect the skin from the effects of free radical damage, restores moisture to the skin, and helps soothe dry and inflamed skin. It improves the complexion and makes the skin more even and lightens age spots. It is good in the treatment of the harmful effects of UV exposure (sunburns).
• Cocamidopropyl Betaine: A gentle natural amphoteric surfactant (cleansing ingredient) derived from coconut oil that has anti-microbial characteristics to effectively remove dirt and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils.
• Decyl glucoside: This ECOCERT & COSMOS certified non-ionic surfactant is derived from sugar/glucose and offers gentle but effective cleansing.
• Tea tree Essential Oil: This extract has been historically used for its antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. Tea Tree Essential oil has been included in this formula (in a well-tolerated %) to treat acne as it is a very effective ingredient against acne. It also promotes percutaneous penetration and can help other ingredients absorb better into the skin.
• Vegetable Glycerin: A powerhouse humectant that hydrates & locks in moisture.
